On 21st March 2026, Project workers Scott and Ethan are taking on an incredible challenge, abseiling a breathtaking 120ft down the iconic Falkirk Wheel to raise £600 for a brand-new pool table at our Liberton Centre. With any extra funds being used for vital resources at our other centres

Our current pool table is very much loved and well used, but after years of bringing people together, it’s now in real need of replacement. It has played its part in countless games, conversations and moments of connection but is now needing an upgrade!

This isn’t just about buying a pool table. It’s about creating more opportunities for connection, confidence and community.

At our Liberton Centre, young people and adults come together to learn new skills, build friendships and grow in confidence. A new pool table will provide:

• A welcoming space to socialise
• Opportunities to build communication and teamwork skills
• A fun way to develop focus, coordination and resilience
• A relaxed activity that helps reduce anxiety and build confidence

Scott and Ethan are quite literally stepping over the edge to make this happen. Every pound donated will bring us closer to creating a refreshed space where people can connect, unwind and thrive.
